Turbo
Before I start my review of "Turbo", let me just say that I love animation. I'm a huge fan, plus I want to go easy on animated Films because there for Kids and for Families so I don't want nobody to point figures at me and criticize me for disliking or panning a Kids Film. So on this Website if you see the animated Films that I've reviewed and given extremely positive reviews (like this one) to them, then you'll know why. I've given strong reviews to Films like "Wreck-it Ralph", "Brave", "The Croods", and etc. So this Four out of Four rating I'm giving to "Turbo" is because of that and because I dug the hell out of this Film, OK.
So know that I said that, let me just say that I, again, dug the hell out of "Turbo" I thought it was a very fun and enjoyable Film. Ryan Reynolds did a very good job voicing the title character, Turbo. I thought he was very amusing and very enjoyable in this Film. Know in my opinion, I could see a whole bunch of other Actors voicing Turbo like, Joaquin Phoenix, Ethan Hawke, Matt Damon, or Brad Pitt. I still enjoyed Reynolds so don't get me wrong. I was just thinking how he was the less enjoyable character in "R.I.P.D." earlier this year in 2013, and how he became one of the most enjoyable characters I've seen all year in an animated Film. Everybody else in "Turbo" (Paul Giamatti, Snoop Dogg, Samuel L. Jackson, etc.) where all fantastic in this Film. Although people like Snoop Dogg and Paul Giamatti are usually known for starring in adult Films (Films like "Sideways" and "Scary Movie 5") they where both still very fun and just so, so, so enjoyable in this Film. I loved how in this Film Snoop Dogg's character, he was the purple Snail with the green Shell, is so obvious to find and know that it's him voicing the character because of how Snoop Dogg is so soft spoken and has a kind of booming voice (I'm not making fun of Snoop Dogg, I would never, but I'm saying that it cracked me up whenever I would watch something like "Turbo", I would find out that Snoop Dogg is in the Film somewhere, and when I would it's just so obvious who he is because of his voice). So I thought that Reynolds, Dogg, and Giamatti where all very good in this. I think that Kids will love this Film because of all of the characters (especially Snoop Dogg and Ryan Reynolds), the visuals (this Film is very, very, VERY colorful), the plot, the acting, and the writing (Kids may not know what that (the writing) means but they'll know what it is when they start to laugh at all of the humor in this Film). What's not to enjoy about "Turbo"? Although this Film flopped at the Box Office (A surprise considering that this is a DreamWorks Film) and it's going to cost DreamWorks a lot of money for it, Ii still thought that this was a very, very good Film. I also hope that the upcoming TV series won't be a blow like "The Penguins of Madagascar".
