The Three Stooges
Look, I say see it because although the final act of this just wares out the Films welcome, it at least stays to true to the spirit and silliness that the three stooges have been giving people for decades. What I mean by that is although I did laugh at this, I did hard actually, by the end of this Film, the Film is, by the way, a series of sketches like the classic ones back in the 40s or 50s, it just looses it's touch because you've seen these, well, "Knuckleheads" as they call themselves in the Film, keep getting hurt or some sort of bizarre slapstick happens it just wants to end what it already started because the writers of this, The Farrelly brothers ("There's something about Mary", "Osmosis Jones") and Mike Cerrone, just didn't know where to just finish this Film off. In other words it just get tiring. Just tiring. But for that problem I had with the Film I will say that it was actually pretty amusing at times. I'm sorry, Diamontopoulos, as Moe, Sasso, as Curly, and Hayes, as Larry were all just SHOCKINGLY dead-on as three Stooges in this. I mean these three are not fucking around with there roles AT ALL. I really thought, for a few scenes, that the actual Actors who played the old Three Stooges back so long ago reincarnated from the dead to play them one last time. I may sound a bit ridiculous with that but when you watch this Film it's just uncanny. They were good and a lot of the jokes in this Film where pretty funny at times. I don't want to say what they are because I don't want to spoil it for you, I was actually laughing pretty hard at SOME of them. Not all of them, SOME of them. Now I'm not a hard-core Three Stooges fan or much a fan at all but I did enjoy some of the jokes and slapstick in the Film that kept me entertained. The slapstick in this Film, as you may already know, is all over the place. whether if it's to themselves, towards others, or to the audience, in the right place (heart). What I mean by that is if you love the three Stooges then I'm sure your going to love this Film. I enjoyed it but I didn't love it like they (the fans) will. I forgot to mention earlier that Another complaint that I had with this is that the Film tries hard to appeal to an older set of Audience. This Film actually got the cast of the Jersey Shore to have cameos appearances in this. I am not even kidding. There's also a lot of innuendo and pop culture references in this that I know that a lot Kids watching this are just not going to get. There was even a Nun in this that will just surprise a lot of people (especially Parents). Anyway, for those problems that I had with this Film it was still enjoyable enough for me to recommend for the fans or anybody who like this slapstick kind of stuff. I laughed I did laugh at this but I didn't LOVE this Film. i just thought it was an enjoyable one. For all of the right reasons.
