The Expendables 2
Rating: 2.5/4
Yes, sir The Expendables are back for war. Well, as it says so in the Poster .One of the things that saves "The Expendables" is that, at first, this Film was going to get a PG-13 rating because of the fact that Chuck Norris (who's only in this Film for about 5% of the time) didn't approve of swearing in this Film. But because fans of the first Film where getting upset because of this, "The Expendables 2" ended up getting it's R-rating that it did in the first Film back in 2010. So, at least part 2 stays true to the first Film. Not only because of it's R-rating, but because of the fact that this Film is just loud and stupid. But, hey, it's an enjoyable kind of stupid Film. Everybody in this, Stallone, Statham, Norris, Crews, and pretty much everybody else is having a blast doing this Film. So even if there not written well (coming from Stallone being nominated back in 1977 for "Rocky"). But the writing in this Film should not even matter because this Film is not only not going for any Awards, but it also just wants to give you, all of you, just a big, loud, and freaking stupid time. And the Film succeeds in that. It succeeds in giving you one of the biggest, most loudest, most stupidest times that you will ever see in any Film in 2012. Another thing that's more improving in the fist Film then in the first one is that there's more action in this Film this time around then in the first Film because in the first Film, most of the characters all around in the Film where just yelling at each other and cursing non-stop. Here, however, Stallone most have re-watched the first Film and took some notes on the issues and problems on the first Film and then fixed and improved the story up a bit more. And, I got to say, I have to congratulate him for that. Now the problem that I have with the second Film is that most of the action in this is mostly all CGI and very, very fake-looking. So, I was kind of bored watching it. Maybe the reason for this was because Stallone must have thought that this Film as going the PG-13 route when he got Chuck Norris involved with this, but after the negative fan reaction, he just had to think of something and make "The Expendables 2" an R-rated Film. So, Stallone had to just leave the action exactly as it is. But, while most of the action in this was mostly CGI and fake, "The Expendables 2" is still big, loud, and just flat-out stupid. However, that's exactly the point of this Film (and pretty much every other Film that Stallone throws at you these days). So, while I was kind of bored with most of the action in this, I will say that "The Expendables 2" is a much better Film then the first Film and it promises and delivers in one of the biggest and stupidest ways ever then in any other Film that was released in 2012. And compared to "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance", this is a modern-day classic in the making. And, believe it or not, I can't wait to see what Stallone is going to do for part 3.
