Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie
Rating: 1.5/4
Well, I guess for die-hard fans of Tim and Eric will just love this Film because of it's bizarre nature, twisted jokes, and the way the whole Film feels at once, along with getting hundreds of cameos to appear in the Film (Will Forte, John C. Riley, Jeff Goldblum, etc.). But for me, however, I found most of that to be very, very annoying and just plain wrong. And this whole Film takes place in, for about 95% of it, in an abandoned Mall with not much happening except for things that are just shocking and bizarre. I don't usually have a problem with that kind of stuff because of how I enjoy shows like "South Park", "Robot Chicken", and "Family Guy because all three of those shows are actually well-written and actually have a purpose for being like that, but in "Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie" it just a little bit TO twisted and at times it just gets really mean spirited and hateful and has NONE of the smart writing and purpose like those three shows. For instance, there's a scene where Tim (our main character) kidnaps a little boy from his Dad, adopting him for his own son and another where Eric (our supporting main character) is seen in a Bathtub getting defecated on by a bunch little boys while there chanting "Shrim, Shrim" (which is a strange running gag in this Film and I guess it's suppose to mean Shrimp) over and over. Scenes like those I found to be just terrible and pretty mean spirited at times. Another issue with this Film is that Tim and Eric are just both despicably unlikeable throughout this whole Film. They don't just do things like steal Kids and then get defecated on by little boys, they do so much other stuff (that I won't spoil for you) in this Film that's just hatefully loathsome in ways that you can't imagine. "Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie" is actually the second Adult Swim show to be released in the Theaters, despite this only opening in like five hundred theaters before it was released direct-to iTunes, wit the first being "Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters" in 2007. What should have happened to this Film was with what should have happened to "Aqua Teen hunger Force" in 2007: It should have gone direct-to iTunes or video because for something this vile, hateful, bizarre, and just flat-out wrong to have given a sort of wide, theoretical release, is just one foot in the grave for the Film industry all together. So, again, if your a big fan of either Tim and Eric or humor that's both fucked up and hateful, then "Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie" is the Film for you. Just don't meet me anytime soon though.
