Monsters University
Well I thought it was really touching and really funny actually. Sure, it's not as good as Pixar's other Films like "Toy Story 3", "Up", or "Wall-e" but it is a lot better then "Cars 2" and "Brave" and sure, It's not an original story like all of Pixar's other Films it wouldn't matter because it's so entertaining and so funny that you'll completely forget about it and just enjoy what Pixar has to throw at us. Pixar highly delivers on the throwing that I'm saying for this Film BELIEVE ME on that. This is actually a prequel to "Monsters Inc." back in 2001. Pixar was planning on making a squeal to "Monsters Inc." at first, but because of some production issues they couldn't. So they decided to do "Monsters University". It's still good though. Very good. The story is that Mike, voiced by Billy Crystal ("When Harry met Sally..", "City Slickers"), as just arrived in College and meets up with his Roommate Sulley, voiced by John Goodman ("The Big Lebowski", "Argo"). They both don't like each other at first and become rivals. But as time goes by for our two Heroes they start to become friends and start to know the true meaning of friendship. Again, the story for this may not sound original but the Film is entertaining as hell! I mean you got Billy Crystal and John Goodman coming back to do the second "Monsters" Film, bug named Actors voicing characters like Helen Mirren ("The Queen") voices one of the universities deans, colorful visuals, and really, REALLY creative Monsters in this. Pixar really knows how to draw out new characters to there World. It'll just leave you entertaining. Kids are just going to fall in love with this Film. There going to want to see it over and over again until they've had enough of it. In a good way, like the "Cars 2" Film there going to want to own a lot of the Toys that are out there for this Film. You may go bankrupt though so be very careful. Billy Crystal and John Goodman do excellent work voicing Mike and Sulley. Like the first Film, there both having a lot of fun doing this. The second you hear them start to voice these characters you can just hear how happy these two are. Although John Goodman is mostly known for being in R-rated Films with very vulgar language in them I think he should do some more voice acting work because he had me laughing throughout this whole Film. Billy Crystal left me wanting more out of his character in this and he did. He delivered lines that where just so funny so amusing that it kept me rooting for him that I just wanted this Film to go on forever. "Monsters University" can also make up for "Parental Guidance" that Billy Crystal did last year. A funny, smart, and highly entertaining Film from Pixar. I honestly can't wait next year to see what Pixar is going to do next. Maybe even "Toy Story 4".
