That's my Boy
OK, before you all come over to my House and bitch-slap the shit out of me until I'm dead let me just say that I did laugh at some SOME scenes in this Film and I did enjoy SOME of it at times but then after that it just got boring and not that funny. What's the story for this Film? Get this: Adam Sandler pays a Teen that, are you ready?, knocked up a Teacher at his High School. Later on he had a Son which he named "Hon Solo", I'm not even kidding you, when Todd's wedding, he changed his name sometime in his life, comes along Donny unexpectedly reunites with him to relieve the memories they couldn't share together. After that it's pretty much those two acting like complete idiots in this whole Film. AGAIN I will say that I DID laugh at SOME scenes in this Film and I was enjoying SOME of it but, once again, it just got boring and stale after that. I'm not going to say that I was offended by the jokes in this Film because I've scene so much other Films with "those" kind of jokes like "South Park: bigger, longer, and uncut" and "Freddy got fingered" and those Films did a lot more offensive things that didn't bug me because those Films new how to handle it in the right way. HERE, however, it seems to be aimed for 12-year old Boys because this Film has stuff in it like rape, pedophilia, racism, and incest (In which during that scene Donny says that "Adultery is bad. But insect is fucked up!"). Maybe those 12-year Boys will be a hell of a lot smarter then this Film. That short plot summary I gave to this Film was because the rest of this Film is just Donny and Todd acting like two idiots that do NOTHING but say and do offensive things for the sake of being, well, OFFENSIVE! I did laugh at some times of it. But then after that I felt SO guilty afterwards because of what there doing. So I don't go to hell for laughing at some parts I literally paused the Film to breathe and calm down so I can finish this sane Film. I'm not even kidding you. I will also say that "That's my Boy" IS, IN FACT, BETTER then "Jack and Jill" because where there was "Jack and Jill" being aimed for Families as Family entertainment and when you watch "Jack and Jill" your just shocked and thinking that it's WAY to vulgar and stupid for Kids of any age. In "That's my Boy", however, it's actually aimed for 12-year old Boys because of how stupid it is and how offensive it gets. SO at least this Film knows who it's for. Like with most of Sandler's Films the main problem with this is that Sandler's character, Donny, is not likable in this at all. I just wanted him to be in Prison from the very beginning of this Film. That or getting shot in the Head when they robbed that one Store at some point of the Film. Samberg doesn't even look like he's having fun in this. He looks absolutely miserable doing this Film. You really can't believe someone who was a star on Saturday night Love seduced himself to this kind of a Film. And that's saying something. The Film went on for a while to. I got really bored watching it because a lot of it just needed to end. ESPECIALLY the jokes. So you all don't kill me afterwards I did NOT, I'm going to repeat that again, I did NOT like this Film. I did laugh at some of it but then it just got boring and dull. I hate having to repeat myself.
