Well I totally see why some people are goanna call it "exciting" and "A solid Film" because it stars Will Smith, one of Hollywood's best known action stars ("I am legend", "Ali", "Men in black trilogy", "Hancock", and others). But THIS was just bad. I mean not only bad it was also unoriginal, dull, slow, Bland, badly acted, terribly written, and worst of all BORING! yep, that's right, Folks a Movie with WILL SMITH was boring! why? well because throughout this WHOLE FILM Smith's character, which they call him "ghost" because he has no feelings, is pretty much THAT and it seems that Smith was injected with some sort of needle that took away all of his wit, humor, and charm because throughout the WHOLE Film he don't smile, he talks in a very quiet voice (I wasn't even able to understand with what he was saying in this whole Movie because of it), and he is barley in it for about a good 50% of it. The CGI in the Film was terrible also. It was an abomination. It looks like something that a college student would make in a Film Class. Not even the Monkeys or the other Animals were the LEAST BIT satisfying. The Screenplay, written by M. Night and Gary Whitta ("The Book of Eli"), is so unoriginal and just so utterly bland that a damn 9 year old could come about with this story. It's THAT bad. Probably the worst of the whole Movie was Jaden Smith. Oh my God. He was HORRENDOUS in the whole Movie. I was pretty much cringing in my seat when this character had a moment by himself or when he started loosing it with all of the pressure happening to him on Earth. This is pretty much Smith's third bad Movie. Behind "Wild Wild west" and "Seven Pounds". What a shame too because this Movie performed poorly in the Box office. The Film opened up at 3rd place first weekend. Amazingly Movies with Will Smith always dominated the Box Office, making more than 600 million a Film. Don't forget "Men in Black 3" knocked off "The Avengers" back in 2012 after 3 weeks. Now I said earlier that some people are going to call it "exciting" and "Solid". There going to call it this because there going to pretty much ignore the aspects of what I pointed out and just focus on what poor Jaden is going through in the Film. There also going to like Will Smith in the Movie to because HE'S WILL SMITH! An unoriginal, bland, badly acted, and crushingly disappointing effort from Will Smith and ESPECIALLY Jaden Smith. M. Night, as of 2004, has ALWAYS disappointed so it's basically just "Same shit different day!".
